Whiskey Hollow Shelter located in Fauquier, Virginia. I wanted ti incorporate some aspect of whiskey into the logo. So i brained stormed ideas like the barrel, how to get it open, how its brewed, how its bottled. Then I looked up what are the components of whiskey. Which is barely water and the whiskey molecule. 

The reason why they are linked together is because people take the whiskey barrel rings and actual make art out of them. And also how when you link the barrel rings it essentially means this 3 ingredients make the whiskey. Then I added some distressing on it to mimic the barrel rings because they have a rough metal texture.  The color choices I pulled from a glass of whiskey.
